Welcome back friends! It's been a while. Ya know, like almost a full year! Say hello to 2016 everyone!

Well, so far 2016 Ali isn't much different than 2015 Ali except for one little fact, 2016 Ali is about to embark on the most epic and amazing of adventures.

Wait for it...

I'm going to Austria. 

Woo-hoo!!!

I am so excited! I cannot express over an unpersonalized font forming pixelated text on a screen how freaking excited I am.

Given, my parental units are wigging out because they don't think I'm prepared, but that's only because they haven't seen my incredibly detailed and meticulous list.

Fear not parental units! I am a self-proclaimed adult now!

I can't wait to leave. It's going to be so much fun.

Now, since I'm certain to have fabulous adventures abroad, I had to sit down and have a serious conversation with the multiple voices in my head about whether or not I wanted to let all of you (my audience) know about these adventures of mine.

I said to myself, "Ali, your fans (haha, I wish) would love to hear about these adventures especially since you keep ignoring them and not updating your blog."

To which I could only answer, "You're right Ali, but we're so bad at remembering to update the blog. We don't want to promise something we won't be able to deliver."

But then I had a brilliant idea: what if we didn't just use our blog to tell stories!?!?

After seeing a therapist about the multiple voices in my head (just kidding, they refuse to leave), I went to work reacquiring my video camera from my thief of a sister, and putting together a YouTube Channel!!!!

DISCLAIMER!!! This YouTube Channel will not just be for vlogging. It is also for random Ali activities such as posting songs, baking videos, makeup tutorials, and other such hoopla. 

However, I will be employing both this YouTube Channel and my normal blog (Exhibit A) to chronicle my global jaunt.

So stay tuned!

I will tell you all about my Fall 2015 semester in a later post; don't you worry your pretty little heads about that.

In other news, I started a SoundCloud (finally). It's something I've been wanting to do for a while, but I wasn't sure if I really wanted to put myself out there like that, but I finally decided, "What the hey!" and did it.

So there will be new songs posted there frequently; some songs will have videos on my YouTube channel to accompany them.

I think that's enough rambling for one day. I have to finish Dragon Age: Origins and this leftover Chinese food is not going to eat itself.
